The Descent Collection is a response to feelings of isolation and stagnation. Descent focuses on an alternate reality, wherein humans are consumed by desire and their reckless abandonment of morals. Symbols of paganism juxtapose Christian archetypes. Descent opposes conservative and modest lifestyles that the church promotes, and promotes us to engage in hedonistic behaviour. This is an ongoing series of work, revisited at points in my life where I feel I need an escape from reality. Descent acts as an outlet for self expression against the bullshit life throws our way.
